Monumental boulder “Jade Mountain” sculpt in translucent soft green mottled jade. Allegoric representation of star gods and multiple symbolic figures carved in deep relief.
The theme of the lapidary unfolds among splendid surroundings set against a mountainous terrain covered by beautiful trees, spotted temples and shrines representing an idyllic Jade mountain. A meeting of three wise men of respectable age indicated by the length of their beards is crowned by a tree branch bearing a multitude of ripening fruit. Several young children are at the feet of the sages, one child clasps a peace sign while a prominently positioned crane symbolises longevity and extension of one’s personal life through new generations he could deliver to mankind.
