Pair Elephant carvings sculpt of translucent soft lavender jadeite.

The lapidary has expertly chiseled these pieces all around from single boulders.

From a flat surface rises each elephant rearing his trunk with two fingers and protruding tusks accented in etched design texture. The action of the carving is brought to motion by the flapping ears, striding legs and in ancient tradition represents power and strength as guardian of temples and buddha. T
