Elephant statue sculpt of translucent to opaque suffused, green and lavender jadeite.

The lapidary has expertly chiseled this piece all around from a single stone.

From and earthen boulder base rise four standing elephants, with upward trunks protruding tusks and crowning ruyi sceptre.

The action the sculpture is brought to motion by the flapping ears and in ancient tradition represents power & strength as guardian of temples and buddha.
