Pair of vessels carved in two pieces of translucent soft green and lavender jadeite.
The lapidary has ornately chiseled each piece from matching singles stones equal in quality. Ovoid shape vessels conform in fashion with spread winged body relief carving raised on a stylised motif of feathers and bird legs. Lattice panels are incised into the neck flanked by beast lugs and suspended rings.
Rising as crowns are scalp phoenix and conforming ringed lugs. Each piece rests on carved and footed wood stands.
